Board of Directors and Management are set forth below. Christopher
V.L. Giffuni, Director and President. Christopher
V.L. Giffuni is a practicing CPA and co-founder of Giffuni & Young, CPA,
P.C., in existence since 1987. Mr.
Giffuni has extensive financial experience both as a CPA and as a business
principal. After working five years on the staff of Deloitte and Touche,
Mr. Giffuni began his own practice in 1983.
He has extensive entrepreneurial experience in computer software and real
estate businesses, as well as extensive experience and expertise in business
consulting and computer software. Oscar
R. Sanabria-Garro, Director and General Manager.
Oscar R.
Sanabria-Garro, MS, MBA, is the General Manager of the Plantations.
Mr. Sanabria is a former Professor of Economics at CATIE, the Tropical
Agriculture Research and Higher Education Center Graduate School in Costa Rica.
CATIE is an international, not-for-profit civil association whose purpose
is research and education in agricultural sciences, natural resources, the
environment and development, and related subjects in the American tropics, with
emphasis on Central America and the Caribbean. He holds an MBA from National
University in San Diego, California and an MS in Agricultural Economics from
Mississippi State University as well as a BS in Business Administration from
University Autonoma de Centro America, San Jose, Costa Rica.
Mr. Sanabria is an expert in forestry economics, plantation construction,
and computer models regarding growth yields using advanced statistical and
regression analysis. He has served
as Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the Pan
American Agriculture School -The Zamorano University- in Honduras and as
consultant for the Inter American Institute for Agricultural Cooperation and the
German Agency for International Cooperation, performing financial and technical
analysis or agribusiness projects in Central and South America. His investment experience also includes work for the Costa
Rican Cooperative Bank where he advised businesses on industrial projects
relating to agriculture. Mr.
Sanabria is a member of the Honor Society of Agricultural Gamma Sigma Delta. |
